EMESRT VI ROS 01 – Operators and all people working around mobile equipment are trained, competent, authorised, informed, alert and situationally aware.

Vehicle operators are trained, competent, authorised, informed, alert and aware of the:

• Status of key mobile equipment systems
• Work environment and mobile equipment performance limitations
• Projected positions of obstructions, pedestrians and vehicles in their operating zone

As an additional point, people working around mobile equipment are authorised, informed, alert and situationally aware.

The listing below contains two main blocks of information. The first, Important Documents, presents the Credible Failure Modes which impact on this required operating state. The second, Documents, lists the business inputs which address these failure modes.
