Whitehaven Coal takes it up a notch

With Whitehaven Coal consolidating its position as a leading ASX-listed coal producer, the mining company intends to play a more significant role within EMESRT.

Whitehaven has changed its EMESRT membership from Tier 2 to Tier 1, which will enable it to have a greater say in the EMESRT Advisory Group and help to shape the overall strategic direction of focus for EMESRT.

Whitehaven initially joined EMESRT in June 2022 and has consistently contributed to several EMESRT industry initiatives.

The current EMESRT members (Alcoa, Anglo American, AngloGold Ashanti, BHP, Glencore, Kiewit, Rio Tinto, Tech, Vale) extend a warm welcome to Whitehaven Coal.
