EMESRT Presents at Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference 2025

On 19 August 2025, EMESRT was pleased to participate in the Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference, held on the Gold Coast. The event drew an impressive 1,051 registered attendees, reflecting the industry’s strong commitment to health and safety.

Dr. Sara Pazell and Clinton J. Harding presented on behalf of EMESRT, delivering a session titled: “Advancing Operational Effectiveness in Mining: A Collaborative Industry Approach to Fatal Hazard Management in Off-the-Road Tyre Handling.”

The presentation explored how collaborative efforts across the mining sector are enabling improvements in operational effectiveness and reducing exposure to series injuries and potential fatalities, particularly in high-risk activities such as tyre handling.

EMESRT extends its thanks to the conference organisers and attendees for fostering an environment of shared learning and continuous improvement and looks forward to continuing the work with industry partners to advance safety outcomes across mining operations.
