Escalated outcome from a mobile equipment fire, caused by:

  • Exit blocked e.g. by fire or aftermarket siting of mobile equipment components
  • Operators/workers unable to see through smoke
  • Emergency exit blocked by equipment etc.
  • Operator/worker trapped or unconscious after collision or rollover
  • Inability to activate emergency exit due to unapproved or poorly communicated modification, defect or absence of required tooling
  • Delayed emergency response to help with operator/worker response
  • Inadequate systems to initiate emergency response (i.e. cannot call for help)
